General Description
The “Laudimaxima” price has been initiated in 2005, the year of physics. It is endowed by the University of Vienna. The goal is to support young and brilliant female researchers in the fields of mathematics and natural science. Current students as well as alumni of the University of Vienna are considered for this price. The Laudimaxima price honors extraordinary achievements with 5.000€. It is awarded every two years.
Requirements
Candidates must have finished their dissertation no longer than 24 months ago. The age limit is 35. Applicants must fulfill one of the following criteria: published one or more articles within leading journals of the respective discipline, created an extraordinary dissertation or must currently work on a sponsored scientific project.
