About this award / prize
The KPMG Prize
As the top graduate, you will receive a one-off cash prize of 250 EUR; the runner-up will receive a prize of 200 EUR. University College Cork (UCC) awards these two prizes every year, funded by the accountancy firm KPMG. The first prize goes to the student with the highest marks in the second-year examinations of the BSc (Hons) in Accounting programme, and the second prize to the student with the next highest marks. In the event of a tie between two or more students, the prize money will be divided equally amongst them.
