Bicocca International Scholarship

You will receive 10,000 EUR per year (gross) as well as full exemption from tuition fees for your studies at the University of Milano-Bicocca in Italy. The university awards 100 of these scholarships per academic year, with 5 reserved for each English-taught degree programme. The scholarship is awarded to the top student on each English-taught degree programme.

Who can apply

• Nationality: You do not hold Italian nationality. If you hold dual nationality, including Italian nationality, you may still apply.
• Where you live now: You do not currently live in Italy.
• Previous studies: You obtained your most recent qualification abroad.
• Programme: You are applying for a Bachelor’s, Master’s or integrated degree programme taught in English at the University of Milano-Bicocca. All English-taught degree programmes will be considered.
• Merit: Selection is based solely on academic performance, with the highest achievers given priority. There is no means test.

How to apply

You do not need to complete a separate scholarship application form. All applicants who apply via the Apply@Unimib portal for an eligible English-taught degree programme will be automatically considered. For open-access degree programmes, you must have been admitted and confirm your enrolment by 15 March. For degree programmes with restricted entry, you must complete all admission stages, be included on the official admission list and confirm your offer of admission within the specified deadline. Applicants from the first admission round are given priority. Results will be announced by the end of April.

How realistic are your chances?

As only the top student on each English-taught degree programme wins, this is a particularly prestigious award within a single degree programme, and the competition is fierce. Your chances depend on how well your academic performance compares to that of the other applicants for your particular degree programme. Choosing a less popular degree programme and applying in the first application round will both work in your favour.
