About this scholarship
Mobility Engineering scholarship (Politecnico di Milano)
You get a one-off payment of 3,000 EUR gross, paid in a single instalment rather than spread over the year. The Politecnico di Milano awards 15 of these scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year. They are funded together with transport and infrastructure companies that partner with the master's programme, including Autostrade per l'Italia. This money counts as taxable income. You can combine it with international mobility top-ups and tuition-fee waivers, but not with other Politecnico scholarships or with Italian state student aid (DSU) in the same year.
Who can apply
- Degree: You study the master's programme (Laurea Magistrale) in Mobility Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano.
- Enrolment history: You first enrolled in this programme in 2025/2026 and are enrolled again for 2026/2027.
- Credits: By the deadline you have passed and registered at least 30 CFU (university credits) that count towards your degree.
- Nationality: Any nationality can apply, as long as you are enrolled in the programme.
- Financial situation: A valid 2026 ISEE/ISEEU (an official measure of your household's income and assets) raises your ranking. The lower your household income, the more points you score.
How to apply
You apply online through the Politecnico's 'Servizi on line' portal, under the scholarships and waivers section. Finish and submit your application by 12:00 (Italian time) on 25 September 2026. There is no interview. A ranking is drawn up automatically from your weighted grade average, your registered credits and your income score, and the top applicants are selected.
How realistic are your chances?
This award is cut very narrowly. Only students already in the Mobility Engineering master's at the Politecnico can apply, so the pool is small, and there are 15 places. With strong grades, many registered credits and a lower household income, you rank high and your prospects are good. Since selection is purely by formula, a solid academic record plus a valid ISEE is what decides it.
