About this grant / loan

What you get

You earn 9.00 EUR per hour for a paid part-time job at your own music college, the Conservatorio Statale di Musica "Cesare Pollini" in Padua, Italy. Each job runs for up to 200 hours, so you can earn up to 1,800 EUR. You get paid tax-free in one lump sum when the work is finished. The work fits around your studies and covers the whole 2025/2026 academic year. You can pick from several roles, for example assisting a teacher in amateur courses, helping the student office or library, working in the production office (photo, video, graphics, event organisation), tutoring fellow students with disabilities or learning difficulties, playing jazz piano accompaniment, or working as a stage technician (sound, lights, streaming). This is a paid collaboration, not an employment contract, and it does not count towards public sector competitions.

Who can apply

  • Where you study: You are enrolled at the Conservatorio "Cesare Pollini" in Padua for the 2025/2026 academic year.
  • Study progress: You have passed at least one exam.
  • Time in your course: You have not been enrolled longer than your programme's official length plus one year.
  • Nationality: All nationalities can apply.
  • Priority: If applicants are tied, strong grades and, where relevant, financial need break the tie. Financial need is shown by an ISEE certificate, the Italian statement of household income.

How to apply

Send the required form (Allegato A) with your CV and ID by email to the conservatory by 23 February 2026, 12:00. A committee ranks applicants on their CV and, if it decides to hold one, a short motivational interview. Interview dates appear on the college website, with no individual notice.

How realistic are your chances?

This is only open to students already enrolled at this one conservatory who have passed at least one exam, so the pool is small and local. If you study there and pick a role that matches your skills, your prospects are good, especially since there are many roles to choose from. Applying on time and adding an ISEE certificate helps if it comes down to a tie.
