Usually they are offered by colleges, departments at the University, or an external organisation. It allows students to get funding from many different sources. Clarendon Partnership Awards are allocated soon after the Clarendon results are published. If the applicant makes a different college choice it will not affect their chances of getting the award. The same stands for the applicants who do not make a preference on their application form.
