General Description

The Fulbright Commission Sweden helps Swedish students and postdoctoral scholars planning to travel to the USA. The grants are handed out based on academic excellence.

Requirements

The grants are open to all fields of study except medicine (except public health and medical research), dentistry, or veterinary medicine. The students must have completed a Swedish or EU university degree. The students must intend to stay at least one academic year. The postdoctoral scholars must first have established contact with an American university or research centre. The postdoctoral scholars must intend to stay at least three months.
