What the IB Scholarship gives you

You will receive a 75% discount on your tuition fees for one year of your Bachelor’s degree at IE University in Segovia or Madrid, Spain. IE University awards four of these scholarships. They are aimed at students who hold the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, an internationally recognised school-leaving qualification.

Who can apply

• Qualification: You have already obtained the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or are about to complete it.
• Degree: You are starting a Bachelor’s degree at IE University.
• Field of study: Any subject.
• Nationality: Open to students from many countries. Some of the four scholarships are reserved for specific regions.
• Financial need: For some scholarships, your family’s financial situation is taken into account.

How to apply

First, apply for admission to IE University. Once you have been admitted, submit an application for student finance via the university’s online portal before the start of your studies.

How realistic are your chances?

With just four scholarships available and a substantial 75% discount, this is a highly competitive scholarship. Meeting the basic eligibility criteria does not guarantee funding. Holding the IB Diploma and applying early narrow down the pool of applicants to a specific group. Outstanding academic performance and, where applicable, demonstrable financial need will improve your chances.
