General Description
The Merit Award of the Law School of the Catholic University of Portugal scholarship grants full or partial fee exemption to students enrolled in their first year of studies in a Law Course of this institution.
Requirements
To be selected for this scholarship program, the candidates will have to be enrolled in their first year and meet one of these requirements: to those who have an average of 180 credits (out of 200 possible credits) full fee exemption is granted; to those with an average of 175 credits (out of 200 possible ones) 75% fee exemption is granted; to those with an average of 170 credits 50% fee exemption is granted; to those with an average of 165 credits 25% fee exemption is granted.
This program will be awarded the subsequent course years to the students who achieve the following credits in their average evaluation the year before: 17 marks or above (out of 20), full fee exemption; 16 to 16.9 marks, 75% fee exemption; 15.5 to 15.9 marks, 50% fee exemption; and 15 to 15.4 marks, 25% fee exemption.
This merit-based grant program is financed by several law firms and other entities and associations.
