General Description

The Ludwig Maximilians University in München manages various Foundations from which student financial assistance is allocated. Scholarships can be granted in the form of a one time lump sum payment for special need study-related costs or as periodic payments when (more) state support isn’t possible. The United Scholarship Foundation allows for all current students and doctoral candidates to be supported.

Requirements

The United Scholarship Fund is open to all doctoral candidates and current students at the Ludwig Maximilians University in München. The scholarship is not directed at any specific faculty. In order to be awarded the scholarship, the applicant must demonstrate financial need as stipulated in the BAföG. Additionally, good grades for a reasonable duration of study are expected. No further prerequisites are stipulated.
