General Description
The R.G.G. Barry Prize in Paediatrics is an annual prize at University College Cork. Dr. R. G. G. Barry was the first Professor of Peadiatrics at University College Cork. It is awarded to the student that obtains the highest marks in Paediatrics at the Final Medical Examination. The award is valued at €1,000.
Requirements
To receive this award the student must have been registered at University College Cork for the three years prior to the exam. The student cannot have passed the Third University Examination in Medicine more than three years before the Final Medical Examination is taken. The student must have taken and passed the entire Final Medical Examination the first time. The student must obtain the highest marks in Paediatrics on the Final Medical Examination.
