Viborg Chamber of Commerce's Anniversary Foundation grant

You will receive a one-off grant of up to 3,000 DKK (about 400 EUR) towards a training course, a study trip or a period abroad. The exact amount is determined individually for each recipient, though the maximum amount must not be exceeded. The funds come from a Danish foundation which was established in Viborg in 1901 to support students at business schools.

Who can apply

• School: You are currently attending, or have attended, Viborg Handelsskole, the business school in Viborg, which is now part of the Mercantec vocational training centre.
• Field of study: You study economics, social sciences or commercial education.
• Your effort: You’ve really worked hard this school year.
• Financial need: You need financial support to fund your education, your trip or your stay abroad.
• No paid traineeship or job: You cannot apply if you are already undertaking an internship or employment, or are about to start one, through which you will receive an income.
• Nationality: All nationalities can apply.

How to apply

You should submit your application directly to the foundation in Viborg. The deadline is stated as 1 March, although this is not confirmed in the current calls for applications. Please check the date before applying.
