Count C.C.S. Danneskiold-Samsøe Study Scholarship

You will receive a one-off grant to cover the costs of your studies at University of Copenhagen. The amount of the grant is not made public. The scholarships committee determines this on a case-by-case basis for each applicant, based on their financial circumstances. The grant is provided by Gisselfeld Kloster, a Danish estate near Haslev, which awards it every year.

Who can apply

• University: You are studying at the University of Copenhagen. Students from other universities may also be considered.
• Study phase: You are in your 4th semester.
• Field of study: You are studying law, medicine, theology or philology (the study of language and literature). Other subjects may also be considered.
• Financial need: You can prove that you need the money. To do this, you must provide details of your income, savings, debts, housing costs and any other benefits you are already receiving.
• Nationality: Open to all nationalities.

How to apply

Please complete the official application form on the Gisselfeld Monastery website and submit it together with your supporting documents. You can apply to the estate administration in Haslev by email or post. The application deadline is 15 February.
