The Birkerød Chamber of Trades Help and Scholarship Foundation

You will receive money toward your training or further training as a craftsperson. The foundation awards approximately 100,000 DKK (around 13,400 EUR) each year to everyone it supports; the exact amount is therefore determined on a case-by-case basis and depends on your circumstances. The money comes from a Danish charitable foundation which was established in 1901 to help craftspeople with links to Birkerød.

Who can apply

• Trade: You are undertaking an apprenticeship as a tradesperson or are already a qualified master tradesperson and are continuing your professional development. It does not matter which trade you are in.
• Local connection: You have a connection to the municipality of Birkerød. For example, you were born there, grew up there or currently live there.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply, as long as you have the local connection.
• Financial need: Your financial situation will be taken into account.

How to apply

Please send your application by 15 February to the Foundation’s administrative officer. You can expect a reply around mid-April.
