University Centre at Blackburn College - Maintenance Loans

General Description

Accommodation and food expenses can be covered with a Maintenance Loan from the University Centre at Blackburn College. This is a benefit funded by the government. This is made available for students at the undergraduate level. You can either be enrolled in a full-time or part-time programme. You may be granted an amount of between £4,418 and £6,600, depending on your circumstances. You can still benefit from a Maintenance Loan even if you are already eligible for a Maintenance Grant. Only 35% of the loan is means tested.

Requirements

You will be subject to an assessment by a panel to ascertain the level of your need. Your circumstances must prove that you need financial assistance. You must be a UK resident.
