Region of Lower Normandy - Grants for doctoral dissertations

General Description

The Region of Lower Normandy supports prospective PhD students with grants for doctoral dissertations. Grantees will receive a monthly allowance of up to 2490 euro for the whole duration of their doctoral studies, which is set at three years.

Requirements

Applicants must be doctoral candidates willing to conduct their research at a higher education institution or research centre headquartered in the Region of Lower Normandy. Selection will be made on the basis of the academic career of the candidate, the scientific interest and possible impact of the proposed research topic, the availability of the thesis supervisor, and the professional prospects of the student once the degree is completed. Some specific research topics will be prioritised.
