Autonomous Community of Madrid - Grants for English, French and German Language Courses Abroad

General Description

The Autonomous Community of Madrid has grants for English, French and German language courses abroad. 200 scholarships for language courses in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany and Austria or elsewhere are awarded annually. The amount of the scholarships is €1,460 per student per course. Language courses must have a duration of at least sixty hours of teaching to qualify.

Requirements

Applicants must be between 17 and 26 years of age. Applicants must be resident in Madrid. Applicants must have been enrolled on a course in the academic year immediately preceding the application at a secondary school or university, or have completed 3 years of studies at a university or equivalent in Madrid. Applicants should have been enrolled to study the language in the year preceding the application or should have a certificate of proficiency from a nationally recognized institution.
