VIA University College - Engineer Ellis Grandt's Memorial Scholarship

Benefit

You will receive a one-off payment of about 1,700 DKK (around 225 EUR) for your engineering degree. The money is best used to cover specific project costs, not general living expenses. Examples: materials or components for a prototype, specialist books, registration fees for conferences or workshops, and laboratory and equipment costs for a specific study project. This is a commemorative scholarship for engineering students at VIA University College in Horsens, Denmark. It is usually paid out in a few larger instalments, so that each scholarship recipient receives a meaningful amount.

• Field of study: You are studying a technical or engineering subject.
• University: You’re studying at VIA University College in Horsens.
• Financial need: You are unable to fund your studies entirely yourself.
• Grades: You have strong academic results. A clear project plan or a supervisor's recommendation helps your case.
• Nationality: Open to all nationalities.

How to apply

There is no standard application form. Please send a brief written application to the Scholarship Committee at the Student Services Office of VIA University College in Horsens. Explain what the money will be used for and enclose your academic transcript, proof of your financial situation and, if applicable, a letter of recommendation from your supervisor. The application deadline is 30 November, and decisions will be made at the end of January.
