About this grant / loan
General Description
Students experiencing hardship in spite of taking out the full student loan entitlement can earn Additional Fee Support Scheme. It aims to assist students to keep in higher education. They will be paid as grants except Emergency Loans and students don’t have to repay.
Requirements
The priority will be for students with children especially lone parents, students from low–income families, other mature students with existing financial commitments, disabled students, students from Foyers or who are homeless, students who have been in care, final year students. It is only available for part-time undergraduate students.
