The University of Oxford Exploration Club - Expeditions Council

General Description

Students wishing to embark on an expedition can receive support from the Oxford University Expeditions Council. Permission has been granted to make us of the title Oxford University Expedition, provided certain criteria are met.

Requirements

The title, Oxford University Expedition can be used for overseas recognition. In order to be approved, proposals need to be submitted to Oxford’s Expeditions Council Secretary, a risk assessment needs to be drafted and signed by the attendees and an emergency plan needs to be made and signed by the members. It is also important to the University that members who wish to use this title have taken the proper safety precautions, are fit and have the necessary visas for their travels.
