General Description

This scholarship is an initiative of the Günter Fiedler Foundation. It aims to promote research in the field of holistic biological studies. As part of the support program the foundation grants material costs allowances connected to the creation of dissertations. The maximum amount is decided case-by-case.

Requirements

This scholarship supports current research projects in the field of biological basic research for healthy humans. Projects of physiology, genetics and evolution theory, as well as projects bridging the interdisciplinary gap between biology and other disciplines (e.g. economics) will be considered. Projects should show a reciprocal transfer between explanatory and mathematical descriptive patterns. Assignment is based upon overall academic performance and the quality of the planed research project.
