The Latino-American House and Santander-Totta Bank offer the Scientific Award for PhD thesis.

Requirements

Eligible applicants must meet the following requirements cumulatively: be from Portugal or a Latin American country; have completed a PhD in a Portuguese or Latin American University for up to three years from the application deadline. Candidates must have obtained a minimum rating of "Good" or equivalent in the PhD thesis, according to the certification issued by the institution where the PhD was conducted. There will be a personal, academic or thematic relationship between Portugal and Latin America in the candidates’ application. Only new candidates can apply. Each applicant can only apply for one category of this award.
