Deloitte Spain student paid internship (Beca)

You get a paid work placement at Deloitte Spain that fits around your studies. Deloitte pays a monthly amount, but does not publish the exact figure. The placement runs in four-month blocks and can be extended depending on your agreement. You work half-days or full days, in line with what your university arranges. Throughout, you get ongoing supervision and training, so this is a first job with support built in. Deloitte is a large professional-services firm. You join at one of its 22 offices across Spain, from Madrid and Barcelona to A Coruña, Bilbao, Seville and Valencia.

Who can apply

• Study stage: You are in the last or second-to-last year of your degree, or have just graduated.
• University agreement: Your school or university has a cooperation agreement with Deloitte. Check this with your education centre before applying.
• Field of study: You study business administration (ADE), economics, law, a double degree, engineering (computing, telecommunications, industrial and others), sciences (maths, physics and others), or a higher vocational training course (FP) in administration or IT.
• Grades: You have a good academic record.
• English: You have a high level of English.
• Experience: None needed. You do not need previous work experience.

You apply online through Deloitte's job portal. Create an account and upload your CV to positions that match your field. There is no fixed deadline, so you can apply at any time of year. If your CV fits, you go through a phone call, online tests (including English and numerical reasoning), an HR interview and a final interview with the business area you applied to.

How realistic are your chances?

Your school must already have an agreement with Deloitte, and your degree must match one of the sought profiles. That makes the eligible group narrower than it first looks. But Deloitte hires students across all its business lines throughout the year, so places open constantly. If you study one of the listed fields, have solid grades and strong English, your prospects are good, especially since no prior experience is required.
