About this scholarship
Benefit
You get about EUR 2,300 (£2,000) taken straight off your master's tuition fees at Bath Spa University in the UK. It is a one-off fee reduction, applied when you start your master's in the 2026/27 academic year. If you study part time, the amount is split across your years of study in proportion to how much of the course you take each year. The award comes from Bath Spa University and goes to its own graduates who return for a taught master's.
Eligibility
- Where you studied before: You finished a bachelor's degree, or a PGCE/PGDE teacher-training qualification, at Bath Spa University or BSU London.
- What you study next: You are starting a taught master's at Bath Spa University, such as an MA, MSc or MRes.
- Start year: Your master's begins in the 2026/27 academic year.
- Nationality: Any nationality can apply, as long as you studied at Bath Spa University or BSU London.
- One catch: If you move straight from your bachelor's onto a PGCE course, you do not qualify.
How to apply
There is no application. If you qualify, the money is taken off your fees automatically. You may be asked to show your Bath Spa University degree or teacher-training certificate as proof.
How realistic are your chances?
This award is cut very narrowly: it only goes to Bath Spa graduates who move on to one of the university's taught master's degrees. There is no competition or selection, so if you meet those conditions the money is yours. The only thing that rules you out is moving straight onto a PGCE course.
