About this scholarship
Performance Scholarship at Liverpool Hope University
You get about 3,450 EUR in total (£3,000), spread across your degree, usually three years, at 1,000 EUR (£1,000) per year paid in instalments. The award comes from Liverpool Hope University in England. It goes to new students who are exceptionally good at Dance, Drama, Music or Sport. In return you act as an ambassador for the university, for example by helping at open days and appearing in its publicity.
Who can apply
- Study level: You are a new full-time undergraduate starting your first year.
- Where you study: You study at Liverpool Hope University in Liverpool.
- Residence: You count as a UK "home" student and pay home fees, not international fees.
- Talent: You have outstanding ability in Dance, Drama, Music or Sport.
- Proof of level: You can show a portfolio of public performances, or proof that you have performed or competed at national level.
How to apply
You fill in the Performance Scholarship application form. Add a personal statement of up to 1,000 words and a supporting letter from a qualified person, such as a coach, teacher or governing body. The deadline is 23 October 2026. A committee of senior arts, music and sport staff reviews all applications in November and writes to tell you the outcome.
How realistic are your chances?
This award is cut narrowly: you must be a first-year home student at one specific university with a real record of national-level or public performance, so the eligible group is small. If you can document that talent clearly and get a strong supporting letter, your prospects are good. The committee judges the evidence of your achievements, so a concrete, well-backed case matters more than a polished statement.
