About this scholarship
International Scholarship Award (University of Greenwich)
You get up to about 3,500 EUR (up to £3,000) off your tuition fees, with a guaranteed minimum of about 2,900 EUR (£2,500) if you are selected. This is a fee discount, not a cash payment. It is credited against your tuition after you enrol, not taken off your deposit. It applies once, to your first year only, and cannot be moved to a later start date. The award comes from the University of Greenwich for international students starting on its UK campus.
Who can apply
- University: You hold a valid offer to study full time on the University of Greenwich UK campus. You are not yet registered there or at UGIC, its international college.
- Level: You start an undergraduate degree or a taught postgraduate degree. That means a master's with taught courses, not a research-only degree.
- Fee status: Admissions assessed you as an overseas fee-paying student.
- Nationality: Open to international students, but not to EU citizens (they have a separate EU Bursary) or Chinese nationals (they have a separate China Scholarship).
- Field of study: All subjects on eligible courses count.
- Intake: For the September 2026 start only. You cannot combine it with any other Greenwich scholarship or bursary.
- Courses that do not count: Partner courses (including UGIC), MRes, PhD, MPhil, Cert HE, PGCE and Greenwich Online courses.
How to apply
Once you hold a valid offer, fill in the online scholarship form. An awards panel judges applications in monthly windows, and there is no interview. For the last September 2026 window, the deadline is 13 August 2026 at 5pm, and you hear the result by the end of 14 August 2026.
How realistic are your chances?
This award is tied to one university and its international fee-payers. It excludes EU and Chinese applicants along with several course types, so the eligible pool is narrower than an open scholarship. If you clearly meet the fee status and course conditions and apply within an open window rather than at the last moment, your prospects are reasonable. The decision rests on your written application and is final, so make your motivation concrete.
