General Description

Intended to provide financial assistance to prospective undergraduate students preparing to study a degree in Law at the University College London – regardless of his or her financial situation – the Kalamazoo Bursary is offered each academic session to one selected student who has participated in the UCL Law Summer School. The selected recipient will receive £8,333 per year for three years, subject to the student's academic progress. The bursary will be awarded with the intention of covering maintenance costs and will be paid in addition to any other funding received through the main UCL Bursary/NSP schemes. Applicants should note that all scholarship and student-funding schemes are subject to availability of funds, and these details provided are subject to change at any time. Applicants are also urged to check information regularly to ensure awareness of current procedures, deadlines, etc. The selected candidate will be notified as soon as possible once a decision has been made.

Requirements

To be eligible, candidates must: be a domicile of either the UK or EU; hold an offer of admission to UCL to pursue a full-time degree in Law for the academic session intake; show a financial need, as to be demonstrated in the application; and uphold satisfactory academic achievement.
