The Hanze Scholarships are based on academic results. Outstanding students will be awarded the scholarship at the end of the first year, based on their performance. For subsequent years, the scholarship will be paid each year after successfully completing re-enrolment. The scholarships are available for a range of masters and bachelors, including science degrees as well as BAs and MAs. The amount is 3500 Euro per year. The schools Prince Claus Conservatore and Minerva (both schools of arts) may grant the scholarships at the beginning of each year.
Students must be non-EU/EEA nationals. All candidates must be admitted to and formally enrolled to in a degree programme of Hanze UAS . All candidates also must have received their Propedeuse within one year. A negative binding study advice of Hanze UAS is not permitted in order to apply for a Hanze Scholarship. Candidates switching programmes are excluded as well. Students must not be in receipt of any other scholarship, nor may they be eligible for 'Studiefinanciering' (the Dutch governmental study grant/loan system).
