Renascença Radio Prize

You will receive a one-off cash prize of 1,250 EUR if you graduate top of your year from the ‘Communication and Cultural Studies’ degree programme at the Faculty of Human Sciences (FCH) of the Catholic University of Portugal in Lisbon. Rádio Renascença, a private radio station in Lisbon with close ties to the Portuguese Catholic Church, awards the prize money every year. This is a graduation bonus rather than a monthly scholarship, meaning you will receive the amount as a one-off payment upon completion of your degree.

Who can apply

• Degree: You are studying for a Bachelor’s degree in ‘Communication and Cultural Studies’ at FCH-Católica in Lisbon. All specialisations are eligible, including media and journalism, communication, marketing and public relations, cultural communication and tourism, and audiovisual and multimedia production.
• Stage: You are completing this degree programme, as the award is conferred upon graduation.
• Grades: In your final year, you achieved the best results, as measured by your average mark and the number of credit points you earned.
• Nationality: Open to students of all nationalities.

How to apply

No application is required. The faculty automatically selects the winner on the basis of academic performance, taking into account the grade point average and the credits earned. The prize is awarded to the top graduate of the year.
