About this scholarship

Erasmus Mobility Grant at IPAM

You will receive a monthly grant of around 500 EUR for one semester or a full academic year at a European partner university. The exact amount depends on your destination country and is determined by the International Office. The funding comes from the European Commission as part of the Erasmus+ programme and is paid out by your university, the Portuguese Institute of Marketing Management (IPAM), a business school with campuses in Porto and Lisbon. Only a limited number of scholarships are available. If you do not receive a grant, you can still go abroad as an Erasmus student, but without the monthly payment.

Who can apply

  • Your school: You are enrolled at the IPAM in Porto or Lisbon.
  • Study level: You are a Bachelor’s student.
  • Field of study: You study marketing or management.
  • Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply, provided they are studying at IPAM.
  • Where you go: A European partner university covered by an Erasmus+ agreement. IPAM has more than 75 partner universities.
  • Grades and progress: Places are allocated on the basis of two criteria: your grade point average compared with the average for your degree programme (55%) and the number of ECTS credits you have already earned (45%).

How to apply

Applications must be submitted via the International Office. There are two application rounds. The first takes place in February and March for both semesters of the coming academic year. The second takes place in September and October for any remaining places in the second semester of the current academic year. The selection process uses the same ranking list based on marks and credit points, which is used to decide who is offered a place on the programme.
