Portuguese Military Academy (Lisbon/Portugal) - Financial support for Cadet Students

What cadets at the Portuguese Military Academy receive

As a cadet you get a monthly salary that rises with your year of study: 203.51 EUR in year 1, 254.39 EUR in year 2, 305.27 EUR in year 3, 407.02 EUR in year 4, and up to 1,622 EUR once you reach officer-cadet (aspirante) level. The State also covers your accommodation, meals, uniform and medical care. You pay no tuition, registration or enrolment fees, and you get your course manuals for free. You keep the normal school holidays at Christmas, Carnival, Easter and in summer. You can also use the campus facilities: study rooms, cafeteria, gyms, a swimming pool and sports fields. The Portuguese Military Academy (Academia Militar) in Lisbon runs this support. Every accepted cadet gets it automatically, so you do not apply for it separately.
