General Description

The Tullow Scholarships is a $6m annual scholarship programme managed by the British Council. It is only awarded to MSc students on specific courses who are from one of the 10 listed countries (Congo Brazzaville, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Mauritania, Suriname, Uganda and Uruguay). Recipients receive an award package worth about $60,000 a year that covers tuition fee and provides a monthly stipend and travel costs.

Requirements

Applicants must be a citizen and legal resident from one of the 10 listed countries, hold a degree (second class or better) or HND (upper second or better) and be studying one of the eligible MSc courses at the University (Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Achaeological Sciences, Archaeology, Archaeological Prospection and Shallow Geophysics). Applicants are expected to show accomplishment in a chosen field and a high level of management skills and certain desirable management and leadership qualities. Only applicants who have not a previous beneficiary of an international scholarship may apply
