About this scholarship
General Description
This is a three-year fully funded PhD studentship that is going to be available to a project that has secured a grand of about £1,000,000 from the AHRC. The project of PhD should not restricted to Arthur Schnitzler works, but it should address the usages of puppets or marionettes acting techniques in the context of20th-century early Austrian and German drama.
Requirements
This position is open for only EU/UK citizens and non-UK citizens should read the students’ guide first. The essential specifications includes having an excellent standard of spoken and written skills for both English and German. You should be interested in archival research. You should be holding a first or an upper second-class degree or something equal that is related to the research project. You have to be being familiar with the European history and German literature. Last, you have to participate fully for the work of the Library on the Zweig Collection. The desirable specifications includes having a Master degree related to the research project in addition to your familiarity with the literature of Austria. You have to familiar with scene of the border European theatre in addition to your ability to construct and maintain websites.
