Aberystwyth University - Care Leaver Bursary

General Description

Many students who have been in Care experience financial difficulties. Aberystwyth University does not want that to be a reason that students don't obtain a higher education. Care Leaver Bursaries are instrumental in this process. They are open to qualifying full-time UK undergraduates. The full bursary for care leavers is £1,800 per year. Partial bursaries are also available at £1,000 per year. The bursaries are based on anticipated accommodation costs for vacation periods, estimated at £1,505. The other £295 is to cover additional costs such as living expenses, books, and other study materials.

Requirements

Applicants must meet all university entrance requirements. Students cannot be over 24. And they must have been in care for a minimum of 3 months.
