General Description
The Chevening scholarship is a global scholarship programme funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) of the UK Government in association with partner organizations. The scholarship has been in existence since 1983. 600 scholarships are awarded annually to overseas postgraduate students.
Requirements
Candidates must have already obtained a first degree with at least a 2:1 from a UK university. Candidates must have 2 years of work or equivalent experience prior to applying. Candidates must be accepted for a postgraduate degree at a UK university. Candidates must have a good command of English. Candidates are expected to return to their home country after their studies.
