General Description

The University of Cambridge believes that all student need support from time to time. The university has the lowest drop-out rate in the UK due to their far-reaching welfare system. The Cambridge Bursary Scheme is one of the most extensive financial support programmes in the UK. It ensures that students can meet the cost of their Cambridge education. Each undergraduate at the school is assigned a College Tutor within their college. This tutor oversees their welfare while at school. Bursaries of £3,500 a year are also available to eligible students. These students must come from households that have incomes lower than £25,000 per year. Students who have spent more than three months in care are prioritised. This bursary is also available to mature students who have just began their higher education.
