General Description
Southampton Solent University offers the Lisa Wilson Scholarship, intended to assist students with the financial difficulties associated with higher education. There will be four scholarships for new students applying to FdA, HND or BA/BSc degree courses.The scholarship funding will be up to a maximum of £1000 per year; this would be renewed annually.
Requirements
This scholarship is open to new UK students having been accepted for a place on a FdA, FdSc, HND or a degree course at Southampton Solent University. Applicants must state in writing the adversity they have overcome and demonstrate why he/she needs extra financial help with the cost of studies. A letter of support from their sixth-form or FE college tutor (or if not at college and employed, from current employer) must be submitted.
