General Description
High-achieving home students of Science and Engineering and Modern Foreign Languages can apply for the Excellence Scholarship. The awarded is worth £3,000 per year. This a scholarship that encourages and supports the best qualified students. The specific areas of study are supported because they are recognised as essential to UK economic growth. Queen Mary Science and Engineering Excellence Scholarships are available for programmes in biological and chemical science, materials, engineering, computer science, math and physics. They are also available for all modern language programmes at the university. This includes French, German, Russian and Hispanic Studies. In addition to the financial award, successful students will have the opportunity to go on work placements with prestigious companies.
Requirements
In order to qualify students must achieve AAA in their A - Levels, or equivalent.
