General Description
The Newcastle University offers an excellence award to new students of the School of Marine Science of Technology. This one-off award will amount to £1500 (currently about 1810 euro).
Requirements
Candidates must have submitted an application to be admitted as undergraduate students of the Marine Biology, Marine Biology and Oceanography and Marine Zoology degree programmes at the University of Newcastle; the School of Marine Science and Technology of the University of Newcastle must have been chosen as first UCAS choice. Candidates must have achieved the following qualifications: Three A's at A2 level two of which must be in science subjects, 39 points in the International Baccalaureate with at least grade 6 attained at Higher Level in each of two science subjects, or AAAA at Higher Grade in Scottish Highers to include two science subjects, and A in Advanced Higher Biology.
