General Description

The University of Bristol offers the St. Paul's Church Organ Scholarship, open to all students whether they intend to read for a degree in Music or not. Grantees will receive an allowance of £1050 per annum; this allowance will be normally awarded for a period of three years. Renewal will be conditional on satisfactory academic progress and on the efficient performance of the duties associated to the scholarship. Successful candidates will also have a chance at becoming a tenured scholar.

Requirements

These scholarships are open to students enrolled at the University of Bristol. Applicants will be required to pass an organ examination consisting of organ playing, choir training, and an interview. Successful scholars must be willing to accept the responsibilities associated with the scholarship.
