General Description

The Gocott Award, worth £300, is available to second year home undergraduate students in the University of Birmingham´s School of Biosciences who are studying animal or plant biology modules outside of the UK that contribute towards their degree programme.

Requirements

This award is open to undergraduate second year students of the University of Birmingham´s School of Biosciences. Selection is made on the basis of financial constraints. Applicants should be in receipt of the Student Loan and should not be paying for tuition fees themselves. When applications showing similar financial constraints are received, selection will be based on the supporting statement provided by the student, the relevance of the proposed field study to the overall degree programme and the academic record of the applicant.
