General Description
The Government of France-Institut Français de Sofia offers the French Government scholarships to support Bulgarian students interested to study in France. Recipients will be awarded 767 euro a month for a maximum of 12 months.
Requirements
The French Government has established three different scholarship programmes for Bulgarian students: the Copernic Programme supports graduate students holding a Master´s degree in Law, Engineering or Economic Sciences; the Jointly Supervised Doctorate Programme supports students interested in completing a French/Bulgarian dual doctoral degree, and the Mobility Programme for Young Researchers provides funding to doctoral students interested in short research visits to France. Selection will be made on the basis of the curriculum vitae and academic background of applicants, who are required to demonstrate sufficient knowledge of the French language. Applicants must be nationals or permanent residents of Bulgaria. The upper age limit is set at 35 years old (30 years old for the Copernic Programme).
