About this scholarship
General Description
University College Cork offers a student from one of the Dutch universities a place every year. The successful candidate is called the Harting Scholar. The student will be attached to the Language Centre. The Harting Scholar will be allowed to choose one or more courses at undergraduate or postgraduate level. The programs that are avaliable for the Harting Scholar are in the School of Language and Literature and the Departments of History and Modern Irish and cognate departments in the College of Arts, Celtic Studies, and Social Sciences. The Harting Scholar will have their fees waived. The Harting Scholar will be required to teach a maximum of four hours a week. Expenses will be arranged by the Harting Committee.
Requirements
The successful candidate must be from one of the Dutch Universities. The student must teach a maximum of 4 hours per week. The student must attend a 3 day instruction course in May.
