General Description
The Roma Education Fund offers annual support to international Roma university students through its Roma International Scholarship Program. The scholarship presents Roma students from certain European countries financial assistance in order to assist them with the costs of studying outside their home country. Awards take the form of financial assistance which will not exceed 9050 Euro in an academic year. Scholarships may be awarded for both undergraduate and postgraduate degrees and last for the length of the degree.
Requirements
Applicants for these scholarships must be openly Roma citizens of one of a certain number of European countries. Only students wishing to pursue an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at a university outside their home country may apply. Applicants must demonstrate a high level of academic achievement along with a thorough knowledge of Roma issues.
