About this scholarship
General Description
The Ymer-80 Foundation's main purpose is to promote academic polar research, preferably Swedish. Scholarships are awarded to younger scholars for scientific research related to Arctic and Antarctic. It does not apply for jobs in Scandinavia or Iceland. Neither is it meant to pay for their own education or studies. Preliminary, the initial amount available is about SEK 150 000.
Requirements
Applicants should have begun graduate studies. Ungraduated researchers should let the supervisor take part of the application before submitting. The application should not include more than two A4 pages. The document should include the applicants name, social security number, title, address, phone number and email address. Also include a brief summary of the project, what amount you apply for and who the supervisor is (for graduate students). Attachments to the application may be: project plan, calculation of costs, CV, Certificate from the Supervisor and additional references.
