General Description

The Erasmus Mundus Action 2: PEACE II project is a mobility grant aimed at promoting mobility between the 10 universities in the EU and the 10 universities in the Middle East (3 in Palestine, 2 in Lebanon, 1 in Syria and 4 in Jordan) in the consortium. The grant is available to undergraduate students all the way to post-doctoral students and academic staff. The duration and the amount of funding depends on the level. The monthly stipend available for the grant ranges from €1,000 for Undergraduate and Master; €1,500 for Doctorate, €1,800 for Post-doctorate and €2,500 for academic staff. The duration ranges from 6-10 months for undergraduates, 6-22 months for Masters, 6-24 months for Doctorates, 6 months for post-doctorate and 1 month for academic staff. The grant is open to all fields of study.

Requirements

Candidates must be a national of one of the EU countries or one of the participating Middle Eastern Countries. Middle Eastern candidates must not have lived or worked in the EU for more than 12 months in the preceding 5 years.
