General Description
The Austrian Federal Ministry of Science and Research offers scholarships for South East Asian students who wish to pursue a doctoral degree in Austria. The amount of the grant will be up to 940 Euro monthly for a maximum of 36 months.
Requirements
Applicants must have completed a Master´s degree in Economic Sciences, Natural Sciences, Engineering and Medicine; they will be required to show good command of written and spoken English and German. Candidates are selected by an International Committee of experts of ASEA-UNINET in the country of origin according to the following criteria: linguistic competence, professional competence (presentation of project), feasibility of project and importance of project in the framework of one of the ASEA-UNINET Focus Areas. Only applications from nationals of Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand who are not older than 30 years of age will be considered.
