University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (Vila Real/Portugal) - VULCANUS IN JAPAN Programme - Paid internship in Japan

General Description

The Vulcanus program is available for students enrolled at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro who want to learn Japanese and perform an internship in Japan as part of a paid scholarship. The benefactors are the Center for EU/ Japan Cooperation and the Japanese company that will train the student throughout the internship period.

The scholarship has a value of €15,000 and it covers the travel and accommodation costs during the students’ stay in Japan. The scholarship covers one week of seminar activities, four months of Japanese language learning and eight months of internship in the target Japanese company.

Requirements

Students that want to benefit from this scholarship must be recommended by the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro so exceptional academic performance is a definite criterion for this event.
