General information on this scholarship
General Description
The University Portucalense awards scholarships to students that are registered to any of their degree courses. The aim of these scholarships is to provide equal opportunities to any student that is enrolled with the university. The financially disadvantaged students are helped by the Directorate General of Higher Education through economic support in order to pay their tuition and other miscellaneous fees.
Requirements
Students that do not have the necessary means to support themselves while following the courses of the university will receive a scholarship from the Directorate General of Higher Education. However, following the second year of the degree, students should maintain high grades and attendance at the courses they follow.
