General Description
The municipality of Vila Nova de Cerveira offers scholarships to the needy students of the county. The goal is to promote the higher education of their residents. By that the county is supporting the continuation of studies of young people from vulnerable families. This intent aims to training students who can contribute in the future to the social, economic and cultural development of the county.
Requirements
Interested students must be a resident for more than five years, the municipality of Vila Nova de Cerveira. The student should be enrolled in a course of higher education officially recognized. Prove insufficient economic resources. This means that the student must have a monthly income of less than or equal to the national minimum wage. Not hold higher education course. The candidate should have an average equal to or above 14, duly attested.
